Apr 1,2,2011 - New Delhi:The Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) organized a two days National Level Research Scholars’ Orientation Seminar on the theme ‘Contributions of Research to Socio-Economic-Political Development’ on 1 – 2 April 2011 at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
Dr. Abusaleh Shariff, Chief Economist, National Council for Applied Economic Research (NCAER) delivering the Keynote Address opined on the need of excellence and patience for a contributory research work. He further emphasized that currently the policies of the Government are designed in a centre to peripheral manner, which needs to be turned around by grass root research.
